Years ago, Tris Prior fell in love with Tobias Eaton after they met in Dauntless after Tris's faction transfer from Abnegation.
During the war with Jeanine and the Erudite, the couple decided to get married in secret so that they'd at least go out in the form they truly wanted; together forever.Just when the Dauntless, Abnegation, Candor, and Amity thought they had won the war against the corrupt Erudite, Jeanine gave one last attack before her death. She struck the other factions where it would hurt the most; one of their leaders. Sadly, that leader happened to be Tris Eaton-Prior. Her death hit everyone deep in the heart but it hit Tobias Eaton the hardest. He hadn't just lost his best friend, co-leader, and a good fighter...he'd lost his wife. His one true love.A few months after the war ended and the funeral of Tris Eaton-Prior took place, Tobias Eaton was introduced to something neither he nor anyone had known. Before her death, Tris gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. The baby of her and her husband Tobias. She had named their daughter Mattias Four Eaton-Prior. Since she was an infant, she was raised by her father but always had a bit of a dark side that she found she could always turn to the one person she was forbidden to be around. Unbeknownst to her father, friends, and family friends, she was raised partly by Tobias Eaton and none other than Eric Coulter.
